Ontario-based Southern Souls recently posted a video capturing the boys from The Daredevil Christoper Wright performing the unreleased “I and Thou” around a swimming pool, because, you know, that’s what they do. The Take Away Shows-style clip was  beautifully shot by Mitch Fillion at the Citadel Halifax Hotel during the 2011 Halifax Pop Explosion in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and the song itself is a stripped down folky number that would fit perfectly squeezed into the tail-end of In Deference to a Broken Back. Just like “War Stories” and the band’s namesake tune, “The Daredevil Christopher Wright,” “I and Thou” is one of those songs that you just want to put on repeat, over and over.
