We recently introduced We Are The Willows’ Peter Miller and his solo video series, “At Home.” In the series, he’s covered some of his favorite tracks, including The Beatles’ “Feeling Better,” and Death Cab for Cutie’s “Blacking Out the Friction.” In his latest installment, the song, “Hospital,” by local faves Daredevil Christopher Wright, gets a digital reworking that includes a prominent beat from the Life Aquatic soundtrack and a whole chorus of auto-tuned and otherwise manipulated vocals. Miller also discusses his obsessing with short songs, saying, “there’s something really precious about them. You know they’re going to be over very, very soon, so you just have to enjoy them as much as possible while you can.” Certainly, this new take on a local gem is enjoyable.
