I was up in the air about putting this up, as I had only gotten a few shots, but I thought that Revival deserved the congratulations.
Revival Records celebrated their 1-year downtown birthday with an in-store show featuring Wisconsin Built and Kalispell. Greeted with vinyl deals on the sidewalk, and inside with cupcakes and candy, patrons lined the record aisles to listen. Kalispell continues to provide some of the best folk-type music in the area.
It’s hard to believe that not that long ago, Eau Claire was completely deprived of an indie record store, but Revival has more than filled that void. Some of you will recognize the handsome guy in the Kathleen Edwards shirt as Billy Siegel – owner of the store, and one terribly nice fella. Go, say hello, and thank him for the bringing us this cultural commodity. Congratulations to Revival Records, may this anniversary celebration be the first of many!
