Not really feeling those acronyms, but man, those are some long bandnames. Great bunches of complimentary colors in The Daredevil Christopher Wright billing up with Caroline Smith & The Goodnight Sleeps for a small winter tour. The Goodnight Sleeps were a delight to see for the first time, can’t wait to catch them outside of our barroom venue. It seemed to be the first show in awhile at the House of Rock to be permeated with a significant Midwestern vibe (weather, maybe? Midwest, baby), and Shane Leonard’s solo Kalispell opening set did a good job getting that brewing.

While smiling hard throughout, I remember thinking about how Wes Anderson would really dig Daredevil’s sound – someone should send that guy a record. Maybe they could do a Seu Jorge type role. What kind of characters/musicians do you think they could play?

Anyways, great show.
