She’s from Canada
I listened to this in my headphones on the way back from the grocery store. Since it is Easter Sunday, the bus was nearly empty. It was one of the new buses, so there were these backwards seats in the rear of the bus, and looked out at Vancouver in the pouring rain. This in turn I think kind of reminded me of being in the back of my grandmother’s car after her husband’s funeral.
What I mean is that this is emotional music. I teared up when the first piano chords rang out. The tom drums are just fantastic. When it was finished I started it over. This is a beautiful song. It’s good for a lonely Easter without your family.
