Potential energy: energy stored within a physical system; can be released or converted into other forms of energy; has the potential to change the states of objects in the system when the energy is released.
A rock band’s slowest song might seem out of place in some cases, like filler before the remainder of a louder set, or like a momentum killer after a string of high energy songs, but sometimes when a rock and roll band slows itself down, it realizes a different sort of power. It takes its deep breath and strips itself from the clutter of noise, comes to terms with the bare essentials of its own songwriting and somewhere therein releases a completely different form of energy.
A rock band isn’t realizing its full potential if it isn’t able to do this.

These chill dudes are quickly becoming the most blogged about band on PV.
Posted 17 Mar 2008 at 2:17 am ¶maybe i’m missing something, but they sound like a combination of every other “indie” band using vintage instruments and tremelo effects behind bland cliche’ lyrics…personally i seek originality and i didn’t find anything with this group…..

Posted 19 Mar 2008 at 11:25 pm ¶i am only basing my opinion on this song/video that you posted….and i’m forming a strong opinion because i made the assumption you would post the best you had available…so if there is some material of theirs that you think would change my opinion, i’d be happy to listen to it..i’m quite open-minded, but at the same time i am demanding….so until then, as good a musicians as they in fact are, they are a “run of the mill indie” group that i could listen to and see live just about any weekend
