No Kids - Come Into My House

The music on No Kids’ album, Come Into My House, is a new guilty pleasure of mine. I cringe at the height of their R&B hooks and sometimes-too-sweet vocals, but they’re the same hooks and vocals that hover over ridiculous, toe-tapping beats and exhausting layers of catchy keyboard parts. Simply put, Come Into My House is far too lively and interesting to not enjoy immediately.

The kids are Julia Chirka, Justin Kellam and Nick Krgovich from the band P:ANO, plus a long list of outside contributors. If that doesn’t help them garner recognition enough, they were a featured band on David Byrne’s radio play list for the entire month of January.

No Kids - For Halloween

We’re just a few months late on the song For Halloween, but this album’s not actually out until mid-February. That’s just bad holiday theme song planning on the part of the band.
