Pictured: The Sargasso Trio. I know, I know, I know it looks like an Andy band.
The Sargasso Trio is just that, three people from Norwich writing and creating interesting British folk music. Equal parts samba, bob dylan-folk, and electro-pop, The Sargasso Trio mixes all of that nonsense into an exciting, and danceable cocktail. I must say that […]
Pictured: No, man. It’s not that bad. I hardly even noticed that your skull’s cracked open and your eye looks like an 8-ball.
The Low Lows put a salty taste in my mouth. It’s not necessarily of table salt, it’s more like the bitter aftertaste of swimming in an ocean. Parker Noon’s voice really does it […]
Pictured: Not quite Bono.
Solo singer-songwriters playing acoustic guitar aren’t exactly in overwhelming demand. Nobody’s really pining for old men with flowing white hair either. Production of such men are exceedingly high though, with open mic nights and dusty old record shelves being filled to the brim.
That said, Sam Baker is a solo singer-songwriter with flowing […]
Pictured: “The next time you make a mess like this, I’m going to ring your neck. You got it Mr. Pumpers?”
Nothing is going to keep Scott Reitherman down, period. He’s the creative mind behind the happy-go-lucky music of Throw Me The Statue. Their new album Moonbeams is a perfectly ironic way to battle these coldest […]

The Game raps about gangbanging and marijuana. Nobody knows what My Bloody Valentine is singing about. I don’t give […]
Pictured: The Coral not being endangered at all. Get over yourself Australia.
These guys are good. I emphasize good. There isn’t anything here that hasn’t been done before, but sometimes there are just songs that get stuck in your head. These guys are from across the pond, and specialize in catchy, riffy, sixties rock. This is […]

The new video for Wisely’s Through Any Window features Pam! It’s a good song too, sort of reminiscent of Elliott Smith, but Jenna Fischer pretty much steals the show. She’s been quoted as saying that Through Any Window is one of her favorite songs ever. Also, Pam is a beautiful animal.
Pictured: “I mean, really, take a look at these cuticles!” “Oh, Sam Andrews, I just don’t know what to do with you!”
Last weekend my step dad, Ted, and I drove to Texas in a day. We were moving my sister’s things to her new house in Waco, where she’s going to college. We woke up […]
Pictured: Adam Morrison. Rest assured, he won’t be going number 1.
We’re not immune to “Best of” lists over here at Peervalidated.com. Sure, it’s stupid and insipid to quantify and measure art (and incidently measuring how it is better than other art), but at the very least it’s a good way to showcase some of what […]
