This song is my new official anthem for summer.  I’m going to someday get enough friends to sing this on my porch and have them all laugh and sing along as I strum an acoustic guitar.  Then a couple other cool dudes will bring over beer in coolers and pulled pork sandwiches. 

 In actuality, this will never happen.  I don’t really drink, my friends I have now wouldn’t bring me a sandwich if I was dying, and I don’t know how to play guitar and have no inclination to learn.  That being said, this single from We All Have Hooks For Hands makes all of that seem like a definite possibility.  The ruling philosophy of WAHHFH seems to be, “let’s get all of our friends together who play like trumpet and keyboard and 3 guitars and start a band and have everyone sing the ultra-catchy choruses together”.  It completely and totally works.  Who knew Sioux City could birth such good stuff?  It sounds like a frontier town with a corrupt sheriff and a brothel that everyone lives in.  I digress.

 Anyway, this song is great.  Stand up.  Listen.  Tell the people who live upstairs.  That’s the order.
